of a new season. Summer is a time for tubing down the river, boating

Christmas lights residents display.

The Ranch house plan reflects a
traditional and practical approach to house design.
Classified within the Modern family, the asymmetrical
Ranch house plan is generally built with a low-pitched
gable roof, deep set eaves, and a large attached
garage. Ranches are typically built with one story or
split level design. The exterior of natural wood,
bricks and large picture windows, gives a traditional
and no-nonsense feel. Ranch style homes have few
decorative elements. The classic L-shaped rambling
floor plan combines the living and dining areas into
one, with a hallway that leads to the family room and
bedrooms on the other side. Ranch designs can also be
found in be rectangular or U-shaped styles.
